Diamond Casino walkthrough

The biggest single payout in GTA Online. You buy an arcade, install the Master Control Terminal, then run scope-out boards, prep missions and a three-way choice of approach. A diamond roll on a hard-mode Big Con run is the ceiling of the game's economy.

  • →$25,000 setup fee per heist attempt
  • →A second player minimum — this heist cannot be run solo
  • →A Sports/Sports Classic car for the Big Con getaway
  • →A silenced pistol and heavy armour on your loadout

  • →Micro SMG / Carbine Rifle for Aggressive
  • →Full super heavy armour before entering the casino

Crew roles

  • Leader

    Runs all scope-out boards and preps, chooses the approach and the cut split.

  • Driver

    Owns the getaway vehicles prep and drives the tunnel or Vinewood escape.

  • Hacker (player)

    Handles the vault fingerprint and keypad minigames — practice them first.

  • Gunner

    Covers the lobby/stairwell on Aggressive and carries the spare armour.

    Scope Out the Casino

    Take photos of the entry point, exit point, POI (security cameras, keypads, valet keys) and the vault contents. Vault contents reroll every 45 real-world minutes, or instantly if you leave and re-enter the arcade.

  • 03

    Buy the Approach$25,000

    $25,000 setup fee. This locks the approach — you cannot change it without cancelling the heist.

  • 04

    Duggan ShipmentsOptional

    Destroy all 10 shipments to cut casino security by 10%. This directly increases your take. Never skip it.

  • 05

    Vault Keycards (Level 1 / Level 2)

    Silent & Sneaky and Big Con both need these to keep the vault door open on the way in.

  • 06

    Getaway Vehicles

    Sports cars for Big Con, sanchez bikes for Aggressive tunnel escapes, Issi Classics for Silent & Sneaky.

  • 07

    Unmarked Weapons

    Pick the suppressed loadout for Silent & Sneaky and the shafted loadout for Aggressive.

    Silent & Sneaky needs Security Intel; Big Con needs Gruppe Sechs / Bugstars / Yung Ancestor outfits; Aggressive needs the Boring Drill and Reinforced Armour.

Best for Random crews and first-timers. The most forgiving route in the whole heist.

    Suit up and drive the Gruppe Sechs vanMap 1

    Spawn in the van in the casino service road. Do NOT sprint, aim, or bump NPCs while disguised — the disguise breaks and the heist goes loud.

    Walk through the loading bayMap 2

    Follow the marked path. Stay behind your partner and keep walking pace.

  3. 03

    Take the staff lift to the vault floorMap 3

    Use the elevator on the right. Ignore the security guard scan prompt — Gruppe Sechs is pre-cleared.

  4. 04

    Hack the vault door keypadMap 4

    Both players use the two keypads simultaneously. Match the highlighted digits — you have 30 seconds.

  5. 05

    Loot the vaultMap 5

    Split up — one player per side of the vault. Take diamonds/gold first, cash last. Watch your bag fill percentage and leave at 100%.

  6. 06

    Exit through the service tunnelMap 6

    Follow the marked exit. Duggan security is thinner if you destroyed the shipments.

  7. 07

    Drive the getaway routeMap 7

    Your prepped sports cars are on the surface. Lose the cops, then drop the take at the buyer marker.

Expert tips

  • →Destroy all 10 Duggan shipments before every run — it is a flat increase to your payout.
  • →Reset the vault contents by walking out of the arcade and back in until you roll diamonds.
  • →Take Paige Harris as hacker every single time. She buys the most vault time by a wide margin.
  • →Set the cut BEFORE launching the finale. It cannot be changed once you start.
  • →Hard mode adds 10% to the take. Big Con on hard is still very manageable.

Common mistakes

  • ✕Sprinting or aiming while wearing a disguise — this instantly blows the Big Con.
  • ✕Skipping the Duggan shipments to save 20 minutes and losing far more in payout.
  • ✕Overfilling on cash instead of diamonds/gold — cash has the worst value-per-bag-space.
  • ✕Starting the finale without full armour and snacks.
